It was composed by Muñiz together with its producers Nico Stadi and Mike Green in Los Angeles. "Siempre Tú" has been described as a "contemporary" pop track with electronic influences. It discusses on the theme of love and "how deep it can get with someone, especially when you don't expect it to happen".
The song was met with positive reviews from music critics, who praised its summer vibe and commercial appeal. "Siempre Tú" peaked at number 16 and six on Billboard's Mexico Airplay and Mexico Espanol Airplay charts, respectively.
