Levity may refer to:
a sense of amusement, the opposite of gravitas
Levity (film)
Levity (soundtrack), the soundtrack for the film of the same name
Levity (music group) also refers to a music trio in the electronic music scene. The trio is consisted of John Hauldren, PJ Carberry, and Josh Tarum. The group started releasing music in 2020, and rose to prominence in the Chicago scene. In 2021 they started performing at festivals, with their first being Summercamp in Chillicothe Illinois. In 2022 they added Josh to the group. They struggled a little bit to get traction, but in 2023 they got a call from an artist to fill in for him at Electric Forest festival. Once they played Electric Forest, they finally got the attention they deserve. In the years following, they started releasing hit singles such as postman, flip it, and one for you with ALLEYCVT. They also started selling out more and more shows, giving them a sturdy base in the electronic music scene. Now they are collaborating with major artists such as Griz, and Subtronics. Along with their popularity, they have high standards with their performances. They now have the record for the most lasers ever for a production in North America. That record was broke in the Wintrust arena in Chicago. Needless to say they’re making a major impact, are working very hard, and always spread positivity everywhere they go.
